Open-source & model notices

LyricPatch stands on research and open-source work. This page identifies the principal components, required notices, modifications, and the commercial-license condition that must be monitored.

Source and licenseSOME and F5-derived code
MIT-style noticesPortions of melody and synthesis code derive from upstream projects. Their notices and modification records are included in the deployment’s third-party notices.
Source and licensephonemizer / eSpeak NG
GPL componentsThese components run only as server-side programs and are not distributed to users. Their source and license notices remain available from their upstream projects.
Source and licenseComplete license texts
The complete, controlling texts are available from the CC BY 4.0 legal code, the repository’s YingMusic license notice, and the complete Stability AI Community License. The production image must also ship a machine-readable SBOM and verbatim notices for every pinned Python, CUDA, FFmpeg, and native dependency.
Commercial-use condition
Commercial use of the Stability AI component requires registration with Stability AI. The Community License terminates when the licensee and affiliates exceed US $1,000,000 in aggregate annual revenue. LyricPatch’s owner has set an internal trigger to begin enterprise discussions at $750,000 trailing annual revenue and must obtain an enterprise license before crossing the license threshold.
Training-data provenance disclosure
The YingMusic paper identifies Emilia pretraining data and internally licensed singing data. Emilia’s published dataset terms restrict dataset use to non-commercial purposes. The model publisher separately released the weights under CC BY 4.0, but that does not provide LyricPatch with a warranty that every training-data right is cleared for commercial deployment. The owner has accepted this unresolved provenance risk; LyricPatch does not characterize the model’s training provenance as legally cleared.
Modifications
LyricPatch separates the research interface into private web jobs; pins model revisions and separator checksums; supports consumer edit regions up to 6 seconds and recommends 3–4 seconds for quality; generates 44.1 kHz stereo output; duration-matches and loudness-matches generated vocals; clamps gain; applies 20 ms equal-power boundary crossfades; stores accepted edits in a manifest; and renders once from an untouched original. These modifications are not endorsed by ASLP-lab or Stability AI.
