Choose the moment before writing the words
Find a short line that already has the feeling you want: a celebration, a thank-you or an inside joke. A clear, complete phrase gives your new words a useful shape to follow. LyricPatch edits the chosen moment; it does not create an entirely new song.
Upload an MP3 up to 100 MB and 15 minutes long. Select a range of 0.1–6 seconds, starting anywhere in the song, and listen to it. Around 3–4 seconds is a practical starting point for a phrase.
Write something that fits when spoken aloud
Choose Change these lyrics and enter the original words. If you need help, request a transcript of that selection and correct it yourself. Then write your personalized replacement.
Keep the rhythm, word stress and approximate syllable count close to the original. A long full name may fit less naturally than a short name or nickname. If the new line feels crowded when you say it with the song, simplify it before generating.
A writing idea
For a line you wrote such as “Here’s to all the brighter days,” try “Here’s to all of Maya’s days.” Both are short phrases you can speak to the same beat as a starting exercise.
This is a text illustration, not a generated sample. The actual recording determines how well a replacement will fit.
Make one change, then build on it
Save with Add to changes. This does not spend credits. Generate the phrase after checking its cost, then compare the original and new version. A successful result costs one credit per selected second, rounded up.
When you find a version you like, choose Use this version. You can add another lyric change for a second moment, or try another version of the same phrase for the displayed credit cost. Each occurrence in the song needs its own selection.
A song can hold up to 32 non-overlapping changes. There is no need to fill that list: one well-chosen line may be all your idea needs.
Review the name and the transition
Listen for pronunciation, especially with names, initials and unusual spellings. Also check the timing and the audio just before and after the edit. Results vary; a personalized phrase may take another wording or version to fit naturally.
Using a lyric editor does not make a new statement authentic or endorsed by the original performer. Use the necessary permissions, avoid misleading impersonation, and check the Acceptable Use Policy before creating or sharing.
